Recent cover versions of ‘Grow Old With Me'

On a recent search I came across six new cover versions of John Lennon’s ‘Grow Old With Me.’ Three of them were released this year, and three were from previous years.

The first is from She’s Leaving Home (2025). This is from the ‘Sitting On a Cornflake’ EP.

The next is from Michael Spiro (2025). This is from the album ‘Miscellaneous Odds & Ends,’ available via Bandcamp. I’m particularly fond of this version.

The third is from Wayne Olivieri (2025). It is from ‘Bongo Boys Records Vol. XXIV’ and unfortunately is not available on YouTube. It is available via iTunes. (I have not checked other streaming platforms.)

The other three versions come from previous years. The most recent is from Paul Davie (2022). This is from the album ‘Half and Half.’ I’ve been thinking recently about a version of ‘Grow Old With Me’ with a slide guitar on it, so it’s interesting to hear what that sounds like.

The next is from Gabe Penna & The Rising (2014). This is from the album ‘Living In a Dream.’

The final version is from Mattie Henry (2005). This comes from the album Our ‘Wedding Day Songs For the Reception.’ The song is listed as ‘God Bless Our Love’ rather than ‘Grow Old With Me.’
